This makes them much more durable than a screen door.
Number two a security door has solid metal hinges.
These hinges are nice and smooth and built to last.
Number three the security doors are designed for full size hardware.
You can even put a deadbolt lock on a security door.
Number four there is a nice metal mesh on the security doors.
You don’t have to worry about the screen coming out over time.
Number five it’s a security door and has an added level of security.
No one is going to be able to just rip it off the frame like a screen door.
I was fixing my old screen door all the time. I put new screen in it. I even attached a M-D Bronze Screen Door Grille. By the time I was done fixing my screen door I had spent more money than it would have cost to just buy a new security door. I finally ended up throwing it away and buying a security door.
